Reading with Fairytales: Little Red Riding Hood retells the traditional story of a girl who walks through the woods to visit her grandma. When she gets there, her grandma doesn't look like she used to – with big teeth and big eyes, just like the wolf she spoke to. Just as the wolf tries to pounce on her, a passing woodcutter rushes in and scares the wolf away. 

Reading with Fairytales: Little Red Riding Hood helps to boost your child's reading skills by giving them an opportunity to hear the main story read aloud by a grown-up, to read a simple sentence together, and to interact with the illustration with Can You Spot? activities.

Other activities also include a retelling the story activity (an important skill for Key Stage 1), a picture quiz, a rhyming words task and a picture dictionary to spot and learn from.
