The book's first story is Brachiosaurus, the Nosy Dinosaur, about Bobby whose nosiness gets him into trouble – he gets his head stuck between some branches and he can hear a Megalosaurus approaching. The other dinosaurs work hard to set him free, just in time.
The second story in Roarsome Dinosaurs is Spinosaurus, the Roaring River, about Suki who tries to make friends with other dinosaurs. But they are all scared of her large sail, her razor-sharp claws and her huge jaws, so they simply ran away. Suki almost gives up but after a pep talk from her mum, she tries again. When she goes looking for the other dinosaurs, she finds them in trouble at the river – and using her sail, jaws and claws, she rescues them. And they realise that Suki isn't scary after all.
The book's last story is Allosaurus, the Troublesome Tooth, about Ava who has terrible toothache and doesn't want to play with her friends. They try to help her feel better, but nothing works. Ava asks her grandad what she can do, and he explains that the tooth will come out in its own time and be replaced with a grown-up tooth – and that's exactly what happens!
