Christmas Jumper Day has become one of the highlights in the Miles Kelly festive calendar and this year, the team did not disappoint!
The team at Miles Kelly took part in a charity sweepstake in aid of raising money for the Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund.
Save the Children holds an annual Christmas Jumper Day to help raise money for children in need all over the world. Last year, Miles Kelly raised a lot of money and a lot of laughs from their array of winter warmers, and this year on 12 December, we can’t wait to get our novelty Christmas jumpers out again for Christmas Jumper Day 2014!
Today the team are taking part in BBC Essex radio’s Bring a Bear to Work Day. Some of the team shared lovely stories on why their Children in Need bears mean so much to them.
Miles Kelly Publishing will raise money for BBC Children in Need 2014 on Friday 14th November in partnership with Great Bardfield Primary School. The money raised will go on to support disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
There were many children with different disabilities but they all had one thing in common – they had the support of their loving families, the dedicated staff at the hospice and the feeling that they are part of a community at Richard House Children’s Hospice. I felt honoured to visit these special children and to leave some Miles Kelly books for them to enjoy when they stay at the hospice.
Miles Kelly visited Richard House Children’s Hospice, London’s first children’s hospice, in East London on 2nd November for an activity day and tea party event. Founded in 2000, the hospice now supports over 300 families in the local area and is integral to the lives of these children.
Miles Kelly had a wonderful day celebrating Halloween with homemade Halloween costumes and a bake-off style competition, all in aid of EACH charity.
