How we’ll be celebrating National Libraries Day at Miles Kelly

At Miles Kelly, we produce books with the aim of inspiring young readers and spreading the joy of reading, but libraries also play a vital role in encouraging children to read.

National Libraries Day – Miles Kelly

Many people do not know the extensive services that libraries provide, such as career advice, computer lessons, book clubs and ebooks. National Libraries Day was set up to celebrate all of the wonderful work and services that libraries deliver to their local communities. 

With libraries closing rapidly around the country, we think it’s important to understand the multiple uses and benefits of a library to a local community, schools and children. Becky from Miles Kelly will be visiting Essex libraries to discover what they do, how they do it and why they are important to the people of Essex. Check back throughout the week to find out how she got on.
