Clint Twist

Clint Twist was born in 1953 and read History and English at Cambridge University. He worked as a journalist and museum consultant before becoming a full-time author in 1989. He has since written 100+ published titles for readers of all ages, mostly about science, nature and history. Many of these titles have been translated into foreign languages, including Dutch, German, Greek, Finnish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Slovenian, and Spanish.

Clint has also edited numerous books, and has contributed numerous articles to major reference works such as  the Children’s Encarta. One of his titles, Charles Darwin and the Beagle Adventure, received the 2009 Best Children’s Illustrated Book Award from the English Association.
