Steve Parker

December 23, 2014

Steve Parker has two hats – not counting his motorcycle helmet and scuba hood of course! One hat is for children’s nature and science books. These range from prehistoric dinosaurs and mammoths, to the most exciting of today’s animals, plants and habitats, as well as the latest in human biology, life sciences and nature conservation. Physics and chemistry, technology, travel and space are just some of the other endlessly fascinating topic that he writes about. Steve’s other hat is for adult books on similar subjects, especially health, medicine, evolution and extinction.

Steve won book awards from the School Library Association in 2013 and the British Medical Association in 2014. He also visits many schools each year for fun writing workshops and similar events.
