Raising money with Children in Need activities

Posted on November 07, 2014 | 0 Comments

Miles Kelly Publishing will be raising money for BBC Children in Need 2014 on Friday 14th November in partnership with Great Bardfield Primary School. The money raised will go on to support disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

Miles Kelly has organised a day of fun, Children in Need activities at a local primary school on Friday 14th November. The younger children at Great Bardfield Primary School will bring their teddy bears to school and get involved by making bear masks and doing colouring in activity sheets. The older children will write adventure stories based on their favourite teddy bears and share them at an assembly about BBC Children in Need, where the children will also learn about the great work that BBC Children in Need do.

The team at Miles Kelly will also take part in BBC Essex radio’s Bring a Bear to Work day on Friday 14th November in order to raise money. Each staff member will bring in their childhood teddy bear to spend the day with them at their desks, in return for a donation to the fantastic and worthwhile cause. BBC Essex radio will be covering BBC Children in Need events throughout the county.

If you'd like to donate to Children in Need, go to the BBC's Children in Need website.
